CRPP condemn unevenly distribution of palliative relief to Lagosian, attack Gov Sanwo-olu

The Conference of Registered Political Parties in Lagos, has said the Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu is playing politics with the lives of Lagosian which has not allowed the efforts at curtailing the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic yield any result in the state.

The group also distances itself from a recent publication by one Engr Taiwo Fatai parading himself as the chairman of the group as another way the Lagos state governor is not getting it right as the said man is a stomach infrastructure politician who is not recognised as the chairman of the group .

This is contained in a statement made to the public by CRPP Lagos state chapter Publicity Secretary, Hon Oguntoyinbo Olumide Hassan (mcpa)

The statement reads that, " Lagos state is gradually drifting towards anarchy with the way Lagosians are been maltreated and humiliated by both the Government and security agencies in relation to the Covid-19 Pandemic outbreak, identification Isolation, diagnosis, testing, treatment and management of pallatiaves to cushion the effects caused by the federal government lockdown."

The statement states further that urgent care must be given to the vulnerable Lagosian in the interest of humanity as the way it is been handled is an eyesore.

The so called Lagos state government pallatiaves must cut across all strata of the people of Lagos irrespective of social, political, and economic factors to avoid 'Hungervirus' which kills faster than any disease.

HON Oguntoyinbo Hassan revealed that the said pallatiaves/stimulus package is been distributed among the rulling All Progressives Congress, APC members across the state.

The group therefore urged Gov Sanwo-Olu to look in-ward so as to treat the situation as a matter of urgency which will go a long way at not only reducing the spread of Coronavirus and also stop the spare of armed robbery due to many of these boys not have what to eat since they live on daily income .
