A call has been made by the chairman of Cattle Breeders Association , Alhaji Moribo Bello who is the chairman of Auchi branch in Edo State that cattle breeders and the host communities in the country should allow peace to reign .
Alhaji Bello made the call today in an interview with journalists in his office in Auchi Local Government , Edo State , on lingering crisis between Fulani herdsmen and some communities in Nigeria .
He said there is need for us to love ourselves and also learn to live in peace which is very essential and it is only in atmosphere of peace we can progress as a nation .
According to him , " As far as I am concern , I love peace and I want everybody to live in peace . In our branch here , there is nothing like crisis though we heard about affected states in the North but thank God they are resolving it ."
" No matter the type of business we are doing , if there is no peace we can't progress . It is in atmosphere of peace only we can progress as a nation . "
He therefore called on other cattle breeders , Fulanis and host communities across Nigeria to love themselves and give peace a chance to reign so that together we can make ourselves proud .
