Kwara Governor greets BUA chief at 61, Emefiele at 60


Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the chairman of BUA Group Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu on his 61st birthday anniversary, commending his investments in human capital development and enviable contributions to national growth.
 
In a statement on Wednesday in Ilorin, the capital of the state, the Governor described the BUA chief as a man of impact whose contributions to human capital development have been engraved in the memory of time.
 
“I join friends, family and the whole country to celebrate my brother and friend Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu on his 61st birthday. Within the past two years of our administration, he has been a great pillar of support and enabler of good things in our state. We are grateful to him for picking Kwara State as a choice investment destination and we will continue to mobilise local support for his investment drive in our state. His support for Kwara State in the heat of the COVID-19 pandemic is unquantifiable, while his recent donation of a N2.5bn oncology centre has placed Kwara in a vantage position in medical tourism,” the statement said.
 
“On behalf of myself, my family and the good people of Kwara State, I pray Allah to grant Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu every good thing he wishes for himself and bless him with good health and long life.”


Kwara Gov congratulates CBN chief Emefiele on 60th birthday
 
In another development, Governor AbdulRazaq also congratulated the Central Bank Governor Mr. Godwin Emefiele as he turns 60th today, August 4, 2021.
 
In a statement on Wednesday in Ilorin, the state capital, the Governor commended the determination and commitment of the CBN chief in this time of global economic crisis to evolve monetary policies to manage and stabilize the emerging economy that Nigeria is.
 
“I join our compatriots to congratulate the CBN Governor on his birthday. He is without doubt a patriot whose wholesome commitment to the service of our fatherland is not in doubt . I commend his resourcefulness and determined efforts to stabilise the economy in this time of global financial crisis, which is compounded by unprecedented issues and challenges of the increasingly linked, yet fragile global economy,” according to the statement.
 
“On behalf my family, the people and government of Kwara State, I beseech the Almighty God to continue to bless the CBN Governor and grant him long life and good health in the service of our country.”
