KLM empowers Youth, women, donates agricultural materials


It was a season of joy when Honourable Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro representing Egbado South/Ipokia Federal Constituency in Ogun state empowers not less than eighty Youths and women in Ipokia/Owode axis with agricultural materials.

This was done in a Bio-entrepreneural startup training in collaboration with National Biotechnology Development Agency on Fish, Snail and Poultry Farming to reduce unemployment in the Western Region of the Country.

The three-day training programme which took place at Owode area of the state was attended by the eighy participants who benefitted from the programme, and were trained on modern methods and techniques on Poultry and Fish Farming, Snail rearing as well as large Pawpaw production.


While speaking, the co-ordinator of National Biotechnology Development Agency and Technical partners of the Training, Dr. Henry Oshagbemi said Fish and Poultry farming had become lucrative business in Nigeria of today.

He also added that this will serve as food security to the agricultural economy sector of the country.

Participants were provided with Starter Packs such as Day Old Chicks, Fish Feeds, Large Snails, Pawpaw Seedlings and cash, along with training manuals as guide.

Some of the participants expresses their heartfelt gratitude on the project, saying it's a give back project the people.
