Barely 24 hours after the much celebrated defection of Ogun former Governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel to APC, the state Deputy chairman (and Acting Chairman) of the African Democratic Congress Ibi Sokefun has described the defection as 'swimming the pool of tubulent water of APC by Otunba Daniel'.
In a 2 paragraph statement issued by Ibi Sokefun he said,
"I wish my dear friend of 46 years His Excellency otunba Gbenga Daniel smooth sail in the tubulent waters of the APC."
Describing his party ADC as being largely of PDP extraction however offered what he tagged "life jackets, Rafts, Hover crafts and submarine s to all erstwhile associates currently "rudderless at sea".
Mr Sokefun said the logo of ADC is 'Handshake' hence the need to extend hands of fellowship when ever it warrants it, the statement added.
