Leaders of all groups within the kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC, have been charged to work and align with the Abdullahi Samari led APC Caretaker Committee in the state.
The State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Tajudeeen Aro Folaranmi on Thursday February 25th, made this remark while receiving the leaders of the AASG from Edu Local Government Area, at State Secretariat of the party.
Folaranmi admonished them to work for unity of the party, remain steadfast and double their commitments to the party and support of Abdulrazaq led government as a platform for progressives governance in the APC.
He assured the group of fairness and forthrightness of the party in its relationship with all groups and associations, charging them to reach out to the aggrieved and preach peace to those that might have been hurt saying that we must all accept the divine intervention of God in giving and taking power.
Folaranmi thanked the delegation of the the group for coming to the party Secretariat, noting that before now, there was no secretariat where party members could freely meet to cross-fertilize political ideas.
Earlier, the spokesman for the group, Victor Kolo said Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq Support Group (AASG) consists of individuals from both the private and public sector concerned and committed to the development of the state.
Kolo added that their visit signifies the support for Samari led party caretaker committee in the state which is a symbol of the political unity in kwara State today.
