The Olu of Itori, Oba AbdulFatai Akorede Akamo-Ekun has announced that this year coronation anniversary will go in-line, according to the guidelines of the global pandemic.

Oba Akamo made this know this afternoon  in a statement he issued out while appreciating his creator in overcoming challenges.

The statement read;
It gladdens my heart to inform you that, I would be celebrating my 17th coronation anniversary on the throne of my forebears as the Olu of Itori on the 26th of February, 2021.

The last 17years on the throne has not been without its challenges, however that's, we have surmount this challenges with dedication and grace.

However, this year's celebration of this eventful day of my life  would not be elaborate as the world battles the dreadful corona virus pandemic.

We shall have prayer sessions comprising the  traditional, Muslim and Christian faithfuls on the 26th of February in the Palace in line with covid 19 guideline laid down by the government.

Installation of new chiefs would be on the 4th of  march, 2022 at Oba Akamo Market  Itori. All events in compliance with covid 19 guidelines in the State.

As we look forward to this day with Thanksgiving in our heart, we would like to appreciate you for your cooperation and supports so far.

May the Almighty heal the world and help us out of this quagmire.
