Ogun Peoples Democratic Party has announced the suspension of three party members over alleged anti-party activities.
The State Executive Commitment (SEC) under the Chairmanship of Chief Samson Bangbose made it known in a press statement signed by the acting publicity secretary, Ajayi Abayomi confirmed the suspension.
The statement read;
This is to inform the General Public that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Ogun State Executive Committee (SEC) under the Chairmanship of Chief Samson Bamgbose met and considered the report of the Disciplinary Committee headed by Mr. Bola Odumosu, after robust deliberation, approved the suspension of the following State Executive Members:
1. Mr. Adeleke Shittu
2. Mr. Boladale Sanni
3. Mr. Sunkanmi Oyejide.
They were suspended for various anti-party activities as recommended by the Committee in accordance with Section 58 and 59 of Our Party's Constitution, as such, they remain barred from parading themselves as PDP State Executives Members.
Sequel to the above, the State Executive Committee, approved, with immediate effect, the appointment of the following members:
1. Mr. Raphael Olaosebikan as Acting State Secretary.
2. Hon. Ajayi Abayomi as Acting Publicity Secretary and
3. Mr. Matthew Adesiyan as Acting Chairman, Yewa North LGA.
This is in accordance with the SEC powers as enshrined in the constitution of Our Great Party. Furthermore, the Party is determined to bounce back from its recent defeat ahead of the next general elections as indiscipline and gross misconduct will not be tolerated within the Party.
