I am Honorable Dr Wining Uchenna Solomon, hailed from Ebonyi State, Nigeria. A Presidential aspirant cum 2023 under Nigeria Restoration Party(NRP).
WHAT INFORMED YOUR INTENTION TO SPECIFICALLY RUN FOR PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA!
I derived my intentions specifically to run for President of this great nation, Nigeria by divine purpose, divine intervention and divine direction. I saw reasons, I saw rapid crisis, innocent lives killed, corruption in high places, cry of masses, insecurity in the land, etc, which gives me the push to contend and contest for the President of Nigeria cum 2023 with the aim of Restoring the lost glory of Nigeria. I have a driving mandate of restoring Nigeria back to our core value system of the nation and the founding fathers mandate in the likes of Dr Nnamdi Azikwe, Sir Tafawa Balewa, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and same people brought the word WAZOBIA meaning Ibo, Yoruba, Hausa to form a nation called Nigeria years ago. It was then I sought the face of God, and in the process of seeking the face of God I heard a strong leading in my heart to come out for presidency to free Nigerians from oppressions, to free Nigerians from poor Governance and insensitive leadership and help restore sanity in Nigerian policy on the platform of ‘Nigeria Restoration Party’ (NRP) with a mission to restore Nigeria lost glory.
IN YOUR VIEW, HOW WOULD YOU RATE OR ACCESS THE PERFORMANCE OF PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI?
As a president of the nation, it is good we constructively criticize the Government, it is good we correct the Government, and to also appreciate the Government. But in the area of criticism, a lot of things are needed to be in place especially in the leadership of our president. It is obvious that Nigeria has secured lots of debt worth over 32 trillion naira during this regime of president Muhammadu Buhari. For a nation that has so much resources and minerals that can generate revenue and funds in our nation yet we go into borrowing up to a debt of trillion.
In the area of Security system, so much has to be done. Recently there was alot killing and kidnappings in the nation which left everyone devoid of senses. Protection of lives and properties are of paramount in helping the nation. Agriculture section has to be taken care of, etc.
YOUTH ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW YET THEY ARE NOT GIVEN THEIR RIGHTFUL PLACE. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE?
Youth are the leaders of tomorrow but the reality is that Youth are the leaders of today. When you say tomorrow, you are making the youth to sleep waiting for tomorrow that will not come. Before we can confidently conclude on this matter on my view. Firstly, the youth we are talking about, are they ready for a change in their nation? Are they ready to bring a Government that will affect their future and the future of the unborn generation? Are they ready to involved themselves into politics, into government affairs and into the national affairs? We are talking about given them their rightful place. The youth has to see the vision of the nation otherwise they cannot run with the vision. Until you see a vision, you cannot run the vision. The old men knows that the youth are not seeing the vision, it is the youth that should see the vision not the Old men. By scripture, the old men are entitled to dream dreams while the youth are to see vision. Until the youth begins to see the vision of Nigeria they cannot participate fully in political ventures. The political lords should give the youth a chance to run the affairs of this nation cum 2023.
WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THE STATE OF THE NATION?
The state of the nation, Nigeria is in a state where we need a rapid intervention, a fast response from the president. The Presidency and the Senates to rapidly restructure this nation, reform the nation system and help to save our nation from any impending danger.
WITH REFERENCE TO WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE NATION, WILL YOU SAY THIS PRESENT ADMINISTRATION OF PRESIDENT MUHAMADU BUHARI IS TACKLING ANTI CORRUPTION WAR?
As I said earlier, the president of this nation is fulfilling his own bid. He has a bid to fulfill. He can't do more than his capacity. I believe strongly that he is tackling anti corruption war but we want him to do more so that corruption will be a thing of past in this nation. I would want him to use his remaining two years in power to bring a rapid change in Nigeria before he hands over to the next generation. By the Grace of God, i hope to take over the next president cum 2023 by divine arrangement, not with a doubt mind but am saying it under divine plans of God to continue from where President Muhammad Buhari stop to take this nation to their promise land.
WHAT IS NIGERIA FATE'S AS A NATION AHEAD 2023 GENERAL ELECTION IN THE COUNTRY?
There is hope for our nation. I strongly believe that Nigeria will still be a better nation. The remaining regime of our president, His Excellent Muhammadu Buhari will be better and i am complimenting his good work to keep it up. He should reforce more competence hands in the military, more competence hands in the police force. More employment especially to youth. If the grasshood can be taken care of, give them employment. With this, corruption will reduce, arm robbery will reduce, kidnappings and killing will reduce. Most of the kidnappers are angry and unemployment.
SOME BELIEVES GENUINE CHRISTIANS HAVE NO BUSINESS HOLDING POLITICAL OFFICES. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE?
That’s is not true, according to the scripture you will discover that a lot of people that rule in the bible days are believers and Christians. The Bible made it clearly that when the righteous is on throne the people righteous, whose throne the righteous man going to be upon?
TALKING ABOUT YOUR POLITICAL AMBITION. WHAT PECULIAR OFFERS ARE YOU BRINGING TO THE TABLE?
Nigeria Restoration Party has an agenda for the country before coming out. We will be an example of pure Democratic Government. Restoration of value system, full industrialization, Agricultural and Infrastructural renewal, Technological Growth through manufacturing. We will create impact in the lives of people. I will embark on total war against corruption in Nigeria. Under Infrastructure, I will make sure there are good roads created around the nation. International standard of hospitals across the nation. I will improve in Educational standard of children with building of materials for free education. Introduction of scholarship for extra brilliant youths. Under War Against Corruption, there will be a fight against corrupt practices in Nigeria, I will take it into law to fight against corrupt people and corrupt individual in the country. I will look into electricity, there will be 24 hours electricity all over Nigeria. Those who have served this country in one way or the other will also have their benefits duly delivered to them.
CAN NIGERIA STILL BE BETTER AGAIN?
The answer is a million times yes.
This is because all we lack is a visionary leader, decisive & determined leader. Nigeria has no business with poverty, if Israel can turn it's desert to beautiful farms and gardens and homes of comfort, yes we can do it, if China can today become a strong national rubbing shoulder with America, I said, there's hope for Nigeria.
Let me shock you, the best among the bests of the world is domiciled in Nigeria. Its our experts that develop other countries of the world, make your research, The simple thing to do is find these people, harness there potential and channel it to productivity of this nation.
Our people abroad, don't like coming home because if they come there talent, experience, expertise, would die a natural death here in Nigeria. In those days, Nigerians only travel abroad to gain the white man's knowledge & skills, and bring it home to develop our country, but because today there knowledge’s and skills are not sought for when the return they tend to exchange it for money and good living abroad, while there homes continuously surfer & die, as a president we must encourage that to stop. One man’s professional knowledge that government invest in is capable to remove million out from unemployment.
It pains me that as big & endowed as Nigeria, we still import tooth picks, what can we bust off? As our Nigeria international products we made ourselves.
Corona virus came & we were depending on foreign government for both solution & prevention, what do we have internally aside oil that we can share with the world?
We have a lot but it's all dormant, if am voted into power come 2023 I will activate them all. NIGERIA again has no business looking outside, if properly harnessed, Aba market, Lagos and kano market respectively can feed the whole of Nigeria, and equally export. Rather than travel to develop other countries, we concentrate and develop our home land Nigeria.
Nigeria can be better again because we still have dreamers, people like me that want to position Nigeria a home of peace, home of religious Tolerance, home of true Unity in diversity, home of massive development, a heart beat of mega productions in Africa & the world.
