OGUN YOUTHS EXTOLS IJEBU NORTH/IJEBU EAST/OGUN WATER SIDE REP FOR EMPOWERING ALL NYCN 20 LG COORDINATORS, STAKEHOLDERS AND STUDENT LEADERS ACROSS THE STATE
The youths of Ogun State are filled with excitement, showers encomium and good wishes on Hon Abdul-Majid Adesegun Adekoya (Attacker), Member, Federal House of Rep, Ijebu North/ijebu East/Ogun Water Side for facilitating a digital marketing, web designing, video editing, animation etc training to expose the youths to business opportunities in order to be self employ and be empowered economically.
The training was held on Wednesday, 16th December 2020 at Omo Ilu Foundation Hall, Ijebu Igbo in collaboration with Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority and had nothing less than 400 participants across the state trained in batches to conform with Covid 19 pandemic social distancing rules such as all Local Government Branches Coordinators of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Stakeholders and Student leaders of all tertiary institutions in Ogun State.
Each participants are equiped with brand new laptop and N10,000 value worth to kick off the online business while the second phase of the empowerment will hold next year 2021.
Comrade AbdulJabar Aiyelagbe, State Chairman, NYCN Ogun commended the gesture and lauded the initiative of Hon Attacker for reaching out to the youth of the state.
He charged other Rep members, Senators and State Assembly members to emulate the noble gesture of Hon Attacker.
It is indeed unprecedented and unmatchable record set by Hon Attacker for not just facilitating youth empowerment program that is exclusive but all inclusive and also channeling it through the recognized youth body leadership in the state to get across to all local government areas and affiliated youth organizations.
Market women were not left out in the gesture as they were giving business boost capital on their respective businesses.
