Abeokuta - The commandant of Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Ogun command Olanrewaju Nureni Adedoyin has described Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun's measure through stretching hands of benevolence to the command and other sister agencies during the lockdown period a great move.
Adedoyin while speaking with Amebo correspondent during the joint task force in Abeokuta to ensure lockdown order is implemented said ; The Government of Ogun State under the administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun is really proactive about the widespread of Covid-19 in the state through interstate movement and this is a very good idea, as an enforcement agency our men are on ground to assist the Police, NSCDC, FRSC, VIS and other agencies to arrest violators of the lockdown and prosecuted by the Mobile Court." He said.
Also, he expressed appreciation to the senator of the three senatorial districts East, West and Central most especially Senator Ibikule Amosun representing Ogun central for deeming it necessary to disburse palliative packages to Vigilante Group of Nigeria.
He advised the general public to ensure they make "Use Of Face Mask" mandatory and ensure they maintain social distancing regulation stipulated by the state government at all times to avoid arrest.
