Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has appointed honourable Kola Lameed Muyindeen (KLM) as Secretary to member of transition committee for Ado Odo Ota Local Government Council.
Honourable Kola Lameed Muyindeen , according to many has been one of the committed members of the party right from the days of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN before the party metamorphosed into APC.
KLM as popularly called is among the few politians in Ogun State who operates open door policy with the people of his constituency. He is the CEO, of KLM communication situated in Ado Odo Ogun State.
Before his latest appointment , he has been the rally point in the political history of Ado Odo Ota since the last decade . His appointment as Secretary to the transition committee of Ado Odo Ota has been seen as a call to service considering his antecedent in the politica arena in Ogun State.
It is believed that the people of his constituency ( Ado Odo) will benefit more developmental projects that will change the narrative of his constituency because of his positive interest to develop his area.
Meanwhile the transition committees were appointed throughout the 20 local Government of the state by His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun ,Ogun State Governor, in furtherance Government philosophy of inclusive and participatory governance.
The elected chairmen of the 20 Local Government completed their tenures in October 2019. The new transition committees will be in place till the Ogun State Electoral Commission (OGSEIC) conducts fresh election into the 20 Local Government of the State.
According to a statement made available by the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Mr Kunle Somorin, the new caretaker committee members were chosen in furtherance of the Government philosophy of inclusive and participatory governance.
