Gunmen numbering about ten recently invaded the house of the 80year old Pa Obangiji Adewale at no 10, Ilishan Street, Iperu Ogun State, demanding for the whereabouts of his son, Adewale Olufemi Adekunle a civil servant with Ogun state Government.
The armed bandits were said to have stormed the old man house at around 7pm killing one Idowu Philips and disappearing with the octogenarian for not telling them the whereabouts of his son.
According to an anonymous eye witness, Pa Obangiji was told by the gun men to get ready to bury his son as they will soon discover where he’s hiding and kill him. An unconfirmed source however said, the hunted Adewale Olufemi Adekunle tried to flee the country with his family in 2016 when an attack like this was meted to him. He’s believed to be on the run.
The body of the deceased have been deposited into the state morgue while investigation is ongoing to bring the perpetrator to book, Police source.
