Gov. Abiodun Will Touch All 236 Wards With Developmental Projects - Olujimi

The frontline aspirant for the position of Chairman in Abeokuta South local government, Comrade Lion Desmond Olujimi has guaranteed residents of Abeokuta that Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun is going to perform beyond expectations of critics in terms of development of roads, education and social amenities in the 236 wards in Ogun State.


He said the poor condition of education , high rate of unemployment, lack of access to health and poor road network in rural areas across the state prompted an urgent action by Abiodun's administration Amebo Online Newspaper learnt.


Speaking shortly after he attended a community meeting with with All Progressive Congress APC supporters, Olujimi promised to serve the people of the Abeokuta South Local Government diligently if elected as chairman in the forthcoming election.


Olujimi said Governor Dapo Abiodun is aware of the legacy of the enviable position of the state in education sector was being gradually eroded with the declining standards of education system in the state .


He said , “ Consequently, Abiodun's administration will commence the process of convening an Ogun State Education Summit that will bring together experts , educationists , organised labour , professional groups , students and other critical stakeholders to examine the causes of the declining outcomes and proffer far -reaching solutions. ”


He restate his beliefs that Abiodun's government would ensure that each of the 236 wards in the state has a befitting primary school in the first 100 days of his administration .


“This will be achieved either through establishment of a new school where none exists, or rehabilitation of an existing school , ” he said .


On health , Olujimi said Prince Dapo Abiodun administration will provide easy access to health through a number of initiatives .


He said Gov. Abiodun will make health care services close to the grassroots, the deplorable state of rural and township roads in the state will be touched without any sidelines.
