The Deputy Minority Whip of House of Representatives, Hon. Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya has mourned the death of Onisin of Ilusin, Oba Taiwo Adesanya.
The Personal Assistant to Hon. Adekoya on Legislative Matters , 'Tayo N.O.K-Rufai, said the lawmaker received the news of Oba Adesanya's death with immense sadness.
The Deputy Minority Whip stated that Oba Adesanya's uncommon leadership qualities and evident faith in the peace, unity, progress, and prosperity of Ilusin made him one of the most revered traditional rulers in Ogun Waterside.
In the same vein, Hon Adekoya has condoled with Ijoun community in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun state over the death of Onijoun of Ijoun, Oba (Hon.) Rasaq Adewusi.
He said he believed that the late Onijoun will always be remembered by the people of Ijoun for his immense wisdom and competence as a traditional ruler, as well as for using his exalted throne to build bridges of unity, friendship and harmony across Ijounland .
Hon. Adekoya prayed that the almighty Allah receives the souls of the Onijoun and Onisin, and grant Ilusin and Ijoun people worthy successors that will carry on their good work.
