...Backs Obasanjo Letter to Buhari

The State and National executive of Peoples Party Of Nigeria PPN has change the party Logo from six finger leave to Konga drum as a means of giving the party the a befitting national outlook.

This was concluded at the party mid term convention held at Dusmar Hotel Kuto Abeokuta, Ogun state today Saturday 27th January.

The National chairman of the party Hon Razaq Eyiowuawi  appreciated all his executive for allowing peace to reign in the party. While he called for cooperation of all in taking the party to the next level.

He explained that its good for the party logo to be change from the old six finger leaves symbol to a unity and peace symbol, which is Konga drum.

The house now resolved that six finger leaves logo should be be immediately removed and replaced with a typical Konga Drum which is a common musical instrument popular among all the geo political zones in Nigeria.

Speaking with TRENDINGMETRO, Comrade Nwanu Sunday Favour, the national treasurer of People Party of Nigeria he retreated the determination of the party to swing into action and mobilised fellow Nigerian for the forthcoming 2019 general election. Adding that both APC and PDP have failed the nation and we deserve a better option than present change in Nigeria.

He said PPN remained the only united party in Nigeria that cut across different tribes in Nigeria and it has remained constant since his formation and registration few years ago.

While commenting on the resent open letter from Former president Olusegun Obasanjo to President Muhammadu Buhari, he said these was coming at a right time as Obasanjo hit nails on the head by  expressing the sad fellings of many Nigerian about the way president Buhari is running the affairs of the nation.

The mid term convention was attended by delegate from all the 36 States across Nigeria. While Independent National Electoral Commission Official were in attendants as observers.
